When you’re 11 weeks old it means you’re two months and about two weeks pregnant. Soon, you will begin your second trimester.

You’re almost nearing the end of your first trimester; there are so many changes happening this week to you and your baby. At 11th week of pregnancy, you will be able to show off your pregnancy and others can easily tell you’re pregnant!

What to expect at 11 weeks pregnant?

At 11 weeks pregnant, there are many changes occurring inside your body. You may also notice some change in your physical appearance; you may have gained a couple of pounds, you may gain around 2 to 5 pounds, and your breasts are becoming larger. However, many women do not show their pregnancy at this early!

  • Increasing Appetite

You will notice increasing appetite for food carvings.

  • More Breast Growth

At 11 weeks pregnant, your breast growing larger and you can expect to see even more growth during the upcoming weeks.

  • Fatigue

If you find yourself frequently exhausted, make sure those energy levels will rise again in the next few weeks.

  • Dizziness

Another common normal symptom at the 11th week of pregnancy is all the extra blood flooding your body, so remember to rest and lie down.

  • Gas

Most pregnant women experience a gas issue but it is totally normal. To relieve yourself, you should avoid meals producing gas like cabbage.

  • Leg Cramps

You will probably experience some tight, painful muscles during your sleep.

  • Mood Swings

You may consider changing your daily routine by including some safe body exercises.

  • Nausea

Along with the morning sickness comes nausea and the upset stomach but the good news is that it will disappear during the second trimester.

  • Vaginal Discharge

At 11 weeks pregnant, it is expected to have an increase in discharge.

Your baby now is more than one and a half inches long and weighs about a quarter of an ounce. Your baby is as big as a lime and starting to look like a real little person.

It’s a great opportunity to have some photos of your baby while the scan makes sure that your baby is doing just fine.

Between 11 weeks and 13 weeks, you may get to see the first trimester screen. During the 11 weeks pregnant ultrasound, the doctor will measure the back of your baby’s neck.
